Tao Hu specializes in visual anthropology and ethnic culture, conducting primary fieldwork in Fuyun County, Xinjiang. Film experiments include: Pastoral Season Family, Shepherds of the Summer Pastures, and Mountain Pastoral Migration. These works were selected for the 8th Chengdu International Intangible Cultural Heritage Festival and featured in the 20th Beijing International Student Film Festival's "Memorial of Half-Summer" exhibition. They received the Second Prize at the 3rd Ethnic Film & Visual Anthropology Exhibition and the Collection Award at the 5th China Ethnographic Documentary Academic Biennial.
