Wang Kai
Wang Kai (born 1989) is a documentary filmmaker and researcher whose work explores the politics of intimacy and ongoing social transformations.
His debut feature documentary, Addiction, has been officially selected by numerous prestigious festivals, including The Mother’s Film Festival, Guangzhou International Documentary Film Festival (GZDOC), FIRST International Film Festival (Xining), and Washington Chinese Film Festival (WCFF). His works are held in the permanent collections of Harvard University, the University of Michigan, and the Guangzhou Library. In 2022, he joined the curatorial team of The Mother’s Film Festival.
