Ao Ran graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts at the Central University for Nationalities and the Directing Department of the Beijing Film Academy. He has worked in film art direction for many years. After becoming a director, he has directed numerous short dramas and AI dramas, while continuing to create short films and documentaries. His scripts are dedicated to telling the stories of ethnic minorities in northern China, hoping to showcase the diverse culture of northern China to audiences worldwide through film. He also hopes to use film to promote the brilliance of humanity, tell excellent stories, and explore profound themes.
