Director‘s Statement:
This psychological thriller explores the emotional isolation of Dongguan’s migrant workers. Trapped in a monotonous factory environment, the protagonist, Sheng Lan, copes with her bleak reality and longing for connection by developing a psychological dependence on a "ghost." Ultimately, a devastating emotional twist shatters her delusion, forcing her to confront the harsh, indifferent reality of her daily existence.
