Story:

My rambling diary by the Chao Bai River, filmed with thermal imaging. Arising from an avoidance of confronting the deaths of pets and loved ones, the film follows repeated winter night walks in Yanjiao, searching for warmth and anomalies, while simulating the sensation of the eye’s rapid descent at the moment of falling asleep.

Director‘s Statement:
I’m about to dream consists of thermal equipment shooting shots and some AI generated shots,originated when I was running away from the deaths of my pet and relatives this year, so I tried to find temperatures and visions on a winter night in Yanjiao, and simulate the process of the eyeballs dropping rapidly when I'm about to fall asleep in a split second.
