Director‘s Statement:
I have always admired the spirit of the French New Wave — taking a camera to the streets and filming freely. In early 2023, during a workshop jointly organized by Tokyo University of the Arts and La Fémis, I brought a second-hand DV camera to Paris to make this film. I attended classes during the day, and after class I wandered the streets looking for locations and inspiration. Eventually, on a single weekend when everyone was available, we completed the entire shoot in just six hours.
This film captures a fleeting romance on the streets of Paris — a small love letter to France, and to myself.
